The ClearPOWER P2 has a portable battery and docking station that is integrated into your home's circuit breaker panel. Three circuits from your home, of your choosing, are looped through the unit. If the grid goes out, the ClearPOWER P2 senses this automatically and routes power to the 3 circuits through the battery. This way your fridge, lights, and whatever else you’ve chosen can stay powered in an outage, even if you’re not home.

Home Docking Station

The Docking Station is installed and tied into your home’s circuit breaker panel by a professional, certified electrician. The docking station accepts up to 3, 15amp circuits that you loop through the unit. Most people choose circuits that include their refrigerator, a bank of lights, and some power outlets in their home.

Automatically Senses an Outage

When the battery is docked, the unit uses an Auto Transfer Switch that sense if the electricity from the grid goes out. When that occurs it instantly switches power from the 3 chosen circuits to come from the battery.

Charging

The docking station can be tied into your grid power to constantly be recharging the battery (when docked) and when the power is on. If you have solar panels, a bank of these can also be routed through the docking station to the battery for fast recharging (up to 1000 Watts per hour)
