ClearNODE Pre-Launch Review Panel Discussion in Moscow

23 May

On May 20, 2018 ClearCenter Founder and CEO Michael Proper participated in and also moderated a panel comprising leaders in the Blockchain space.

The panel was one of the keynote events during the World Blockchain Cryptocurrency Summit Moscow 2018 conference backed by the International Decentralized Association of Cryptocurrency and Blockchain (IDACB).

Michael and the panel reviewed the latest ClearNODE video, news and information on ClearCenter's upcoming ClearNODE product line of managed hardware, software and services.

ClearNODE is an integrated hardware, software and security services combination that delivers the first fully managed, secure Blockchain Platform and decentralized app (Dapp) Marketplace.

During the Q&A session, the panel discussed ClearNODE's security features and what makes ClearNODE unique in the Blockchain space with regards to infrastructure, platform and Dapp marketplace support.

All ClearNODE products will include bundled HPE ProLiant server hardware, the ClearOS Linux-based, open source operating system, and ClearCenter’s ClearGM security service via the ClearOS Marketplace.

HPE’s line of ProLiant servers feature HPE’s Silicon Root of Trust technology, an industry-leading security layer that protects server hardware at the firmware level, a foundational benefit of the ClearNODE offering.

In addition, ClearCenter adds additional security layers to ClearNODE at the operating system, server, network, and gateway levels. ClearCenter accomplishes this via a tightly managed integration between ClearOS and ClearCenter's groundbreaking ClearGM managed security service.

ClearGM and ClearOS security features include:

  • Firewall and Unified Threat Management functions are fully managed and updated daily by ClearCenter to protect against external threats.
  • A Zero-Trust Model for egress control protects against internal threats, phishing attempts, and malware by ensuring all outgoing requests are blocked at the network level.
  • DNS-based content filtering to protect against inappropriate content and malicious websites.
  • Automatic whitelisting of services and websites is controlled by ClearGM’s cloud-based machine learning system to provide a better end-user experience and provide seamless access to legitimate services.

ClearCenter soon plans to announce ClearNODE availability dates and the initial regions that ClearNODE deployments will support.
